My role at the company is to serve as advisor, teacher, mentor, and cheerleader in support of our staff in all that they do. We have an amazing group here at H&L, and it’s so rewarding to see their accomplishments.

I’ve been with H&L since our founding and working with John, Gary, and Masood for 30 years and with Allen for 27 years! I have worked in one role or another on a majority of the major roadway projects and quite a few of the bridge projects the company has designed. I am also responsible for managing the IT functions for the company. I have really enjoyed watching our young engineers work their way up and blossom into great engineers.

I started working at H&L in 2014 after receiving my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and my master’s in structural engineering. I am a designer in the structural department. I enjoy working on projects that are complex and require thinking outside the box, and we have a lot opportunity for that here at H&L. Outside of work, I enjoy UGA football, golfing, and spending time with my family.

Over my career at H&L, I have had the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects. Some of the most rewarding projects have been those which involve a strong partnership – with project owners and with industry contractors. In recent years, I have been designing and managing design-build projects. The design-build process is an exciting area of engineering, as it provides plenty of opportunity to be creative, and often the solutions on our desk today are headed to construction tomorrow. It’s great to see things happen so quickly!

I have been designing and developing roadway, transit, and bridge construction plans for almost 6 years at H&L. Our reputation for quality and consistency has given me the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects. I thoroughly enjoy all of the time I get to put towards developing my professional skills and completing exciting construction projects.

I’ve been with Heath & Lineback since 2005. As a Road Technician Leader, I’m responsible for road design tasks. I train and develop the technical staff at H&L, and I get great joy in showing the new engineers our process. I’ve also been involved in project development from concept level through construction which is the most satisfying part of my job. H&L is a great place to work, and being a part of the team has always been very gratifying.

I began working at H&L while pursuing my undergraduate degree and became a full-time staff member in 2008. I have designed many transportation infrastructure projects, primarily pedestrian related, and I now serve as our Trail Department Manager. Early in my career, I realized my main engineering interest was in designing multi-modal facilities that bring communities together and provide meaningful outdoor experiences for the public.

I started working at Heath & Lineback right after I graduated from college in 2004. One of the first projects I worked on was the 5th Runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. That was such a great project with which to start my career! It was very interesting and quite challenging at times – and I learned a lot through that design. Now I’m a Senior Bridge Engineer and Project Manager and I really enjoy what I do. Each day gives me the chance to use the skills I’ve acquired over the years and the opportunity to gain new expertise.

I’ve been with H&L since 1999, and I am the manager of the bridge department. H&L’s mission is to provide engineering excellence with high quality customer service. I am honored to lead a talented and motivated staff who dedicate themselves to achieving this mission. I get a great sense of satisfaction in being a mentor to our younger staff, knowing that the training and education they are receiving is accelerating their growth in the field of engineering.

I am an Auburn fan and a civil engineer, in that order. I’m originally from upstate New York and graduated from Auburn University. I joined H&L after graduation, and I’ve been involved in a variety of transportation infrastructure projects. As Head of the Roadway Department, I oversee many different types of projects - roundabouts, widenings, intersections, and arterial type jobs to name a few - all while monitoring the quality of work the department produces. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Vicki, and our two daughters.

At H&L, the dynamic work environment and regular training opportunities encourage employees to give the best of themselves and gives them opportunities for professional growth and advancement. I have been with H&L since 2017, getting a broad range of experience as part of the structural practice and road design team. As a growing and dynamic company, H&L is the place to be - the company to work for.

I’m a roadway designer and have been working at H&L since 2009. I enjoy working on fast-paced projects that involve optimizing aspects of the design for constructability while minimizing impacts. Working on these types of projects highlights the importance of team work, efficiency, and dedication. The most rewarding part of my job is mentoring our graduate engineers and helping them develop a sense of pride and ownership in their work.
